About Us

IAurora Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star (Prince Hall Affiliated), was founded through a grassroots effort to serve military women and families stationed at Eielson Air Force Base and Fort Wainwright in Alaska. Beginning in 2017–2018, visionary leaders including Past Worthy Matron Anisa Mustapha, Technical Sergeant Tajuana Boss, and Master Sergeant Marcie Ireland partnered with the Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Alaska to establish a chapter focused on community service, leadership development, mentorship, and sisterhood within the military community.

Formed Under Dispensation and guided by Grand Chapter leadership, Aurora Chapter provides structured educational programming, ritualistic training, and values-based leadership rooted in the principles of the Order of the Eastern Star. Through mentorship, study halls, and bylaw development, members are empowered to grow both personally and professionally while supporting one another in service. Inspired by the Heroine Ruth, Aurora Chapter stands on a commitment to unity and resilience—“Where you go, I go”—serving as a trusted, inclusive, and mission-driven organization dedicated to strengthening communities across Alaska.
